The Toolbox is a web based software system that takes the paper based system that successful
companies use and makes it accessible from a centralized database. The database means that you enter the
customer information once so you can do more with less effort, less cost, and higher efficiency.
Okay, this system makes us more efficient, but will it make me money?
The system increases efficiency and it is easy to prove that companies will make more money by being able to do more work with less effort. The system also keeps track of each customer, what they purchased and when they purchased it,
if they were satisfied. The system also has customer communication to print personalized letters, labels, and faxes so you can communicate with your customer base regularly and often enough to keep your good name in their minds and to mine your current customer
base for more work. You have the customers, now make it easy to ask them if they want any new services or products.
Can I have easy access to customer information?
As customer information is entered into the software it populates a database and
stores documents in a central location. This information is entered once and can then be reused by everyone in the company.
How is internal security implemented?
When you add a user into the software you specify what access they have to the data
so that only the people that you give permissions to can see only the data that they need to see.
How do you know enough about the construction and services business to design the Services Toolbox?
The system was designed by business owners in conjunction with Computer Scientists, specifically for the construction industry. We use the software we build for others.
Is the site secure?
Yes it is. Services Toolbox is an HTTPS SSL website with a certificate to secure your uploads, downloads, and transactions.
Can I search for my information on the site?
Yes you can, the site has a search feature that enables you search for information in many different ways.
I am a small company and can't afford to spend much on systems, is there a way we can get started?
Yes there is. We have pricing models that are based on how much you use the software and this should enable everyone to get started even with a small budget.
There are no IT Requirements listed in your product descriptions, why is that?
There is one small IT requirement to access your Toolbox, each user must have a computer with a connection to the internet and a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox). There is no requirement for a company network or server. This is a cost saving to businesses that currently have an enterprise system in their office. Not having to worry about IT and not having to pay for an IT infrastructure frees you up to put your attention on you business.
Can I backup my data?
The data is backed up daily. If you want a copy of the backup then call or email a request to us and we will send you a copy.
